To mark fifteen years of operations, ACE has released the ACE Retrospective 2005-2020.
The publication collects seven articles covering the early years, the Market Information System, the Warehouse Receipt System, trade facilitation, the Chithumba model, warehouse receipt finance, and the future, alongside contributions from figures across the industry.
The Retrospective is candid about setbacks as well as achievements, documenting modalities that failed and the effect of policy interventions on the market — in the belief that other initiatives facing similar challenges benefit more from an honest account than a polished one.
