In April 2020 ACE Africa was granted a licence by the Registrar of Financial Institutions to operate a trade platform, a warehouse receipt system, and a clearing house.
The application was submitted on 26 April 2019 and followed a year of review. The licence is an imperative milestone in ACE's endeavour to establish and develop structured trade in Malawi.
Under the licence, ACE will operate as a Self-Regulating Organisation, with authority from the Registrar to regulate industry and stakeholders utilising ACE services.
